Step 1: Start off with a new 300 x 150 pixel document. File > New.
Step 2: Now open the image you would like to put in your contact box, I am going to
use a picture of myself. File > Open. You should now have to documents open, the 300x150 blank contact box and
an image of yourself. If you select your arrow tool ( ), you can drag
the image of yourself onto your contact box document (Take your arrow tool, click and hold on the image of yourself and
drag it to the blank 300x150 document and let go). Once this is done, close the image of yourself. Your layer
pallet should now look like this.
Step 3: Now if you take your arrow tool, you can position your image around like so.
Now if you cannot get your image to fit well, cause it's just to dang big, follow these steps. With "Layer 1"
selected, go up to Edit > Transform > Scale. Youll get something like this.
Step 4: Now if you do not see all the points like I do, expand your window. Now hold "SHIFT + ALT" and take one of the
corner points ( ) and drag the corner point inwards. You'll notice your image will
start to shrink, once you have shrunk the image to your desired needs, hit "ENTER" on your keyboard. I shrunk my image just a
tad bit. NOTE: Shrinking images will make the image clarity appear a lot cleaner.
Step 5: Now we need to type our text right? So people know what to click, this part I am just going to have you
guys estimate where the links need to go, your text must go in the same spot as the original contact boxes. Now take your text tool
( ) and for the first one, I am going to type out "Message Me Baby!" To confirm your text just
click the arrow tool once finished.
Step 6: Now finish typing the rest out! If you have trouble trying to figure out where to place the text, I suggest
copying another contact box on top of your document, and lower the opacity, and that will help. If you have no idea what I just said,
email me.
Step 7: Now if you notice, the text on the right side is a bit hard to read, so I am going to place a glow around the
text on the right side. Start by click the layer you would like to apply the effect onto, in my case, it's going to be "Am I Sexy?"
With the layer selected, on the bottom of the layer pallet, click the "Add a layer style" button
( ) and select "Outer Glow." In my case you can just hit "OK" to the default, but feel
free to play with the settings!
Step 8: Now I am going to apply this effect to the rest of the text on the right side, you can simply repeat the same
process for each text layer, but I would rather right click on the "Am I Sexy?" text layer and select "Copy Layer Style." Than right click
on the remaining text layers and select "Paste Layer Style."
Now you can save your image, and upload it to a free image hosting site, and go
to our "Contact Box Generator" and scroll to the bottom and look for "Use your own saved contact box."
and select that option, and just pop in the URL to your newly created contact box! Enjoy!
